Purchase Membership

Share your love for books with over 900 other members and make new friends by purchasing an Open Book membership! All memberships are for life and include the following great benefits:

• Exclusive invitations to special events and author engagements
• Volunteer opportunities
• Up to 3 free books per year

In order to purchase a membership, print out and send in the membership form at the bottom of this page. Make checks payable to “Shorewood Community Bookstore Cooperative.” You can also just come in to the store and we'll sign you up.

There are four different membership levels:

$50 - Updike: 10% off of purchases. Invites to special events. 

$100 - Hemingway: 10% off of purchases. Invites to special events. One free book, valued up to $30, each year. 

$250 - Austen: 10% off of purchases. Invites to special events. Two free books, valued up to $30, each year.

$500 and up - Shakespeare: 10% off of purchases. Invites to special events. Three free books, valued up to $30, each year. Special annual reception with noted author.
